The Honeymoon Edit
Let me be honest with you: most “honeymoon swimwear” round-ups are lazy. They throw together anything white, slap a “bridal” label on it, and call it a day. That is not what this is. Every piece in this edit has been chosen because it genuinely looks and feels special enough for the trip that follows the biggest day of your life.
Your honeymoon is probably the one holiday where you will actually care about what you are wearing by the pool. Not in a stressed way — in an “I want to feel incredible” way. And the right swimsuit does that. It is not about impressing anyone else. It is about catching your own reflection in the hotel mirror and thinking “yes, absolutely yes.”
I have gone heavy on Melissa Odabash here because nobody does honeymoon swim better. The Murcia in white is the kind of piece that makes you understand why people spend serious money on swimwear — the plunging neckline with that gold belt detail is genuinely stunning, and the construction is miles ahead of anything you will find on the high street. The Nevada Paloma is equally gorgeous if you want something strapless. Internal boning means it actually stays put, which matters when you are not just posing for photos but actually living in the thing for two weeks.
Hunza G brings something different to the table. Their signature crinkle fabric fits practically every body shape without sizing drama, which is a godsend when you are ordering online before a trip. The Camille in metallic khaki is not your typical honeymoon pick, and that is exactly why I love it. It is luxurious without being predictable. The Coverage Celine in rosewood is another standout — those tonal hoop details catch the light beautifully, and it has more coverage if that is what you prefer without sacrificing any of the glamour.
The Monday Swimwear Clovelly is the wild card here. At £149 it is the most affordable piece in the edit, but the two-tone black and ivory design looks far more expensive than it is. It is the kind of one piece you can throw on with a sarong and sandals and walk straight from the pool to a beachside lunch without changing. For the Positano Floral bikini top, pair it with a simple black bottom and you have something romantic without being saccharine. Real flowers, real underwire, real support.
Pack three or four of these and you are covered for every moment — the lazy pool mornings, the sunset boat trips, the “we found a secret beach” adventures. That is what honeymoon swimwear should do. It should make the whole trip feel slightly elevated.
